UVP Technicom
The mission of the University Science Park TECHNICOM is to create an ecosystem for the acceleration of technological transfer, innovation, and business support at the Technical University of Košice. It aims to ensure the transfer of research and development results into economic and societal practice and support the creation and development of new companies. TECHNICOM provides access to the university's research and development infrastructure, creating optimal conditions for the emergence and development of innovative ideas and projects, collaboration with industry, and the regional ecosystem of companies. It contributes to the development of the university and supports the competitiveness of Slovak industry in the field of digitalization.
The University Science Park TECHNICOM places great emphasis on the support and protection of intellectual property. A team of experts provides consultancy in the areas of patenting, trademarks, and copyrights. It also organizes regular training sessions and workshops focused on raising awareness about the importance and methods of intellectual property protection. Another activity is the active support of the preparation and implementation of national and international projects by offering administrative and expert assistance in creating project proposals and securing funding.
UVP TECHNICOM is also an important player in the field of international cooperation and networking activities. Through partnerships with renowned foreign universities, research institutions, and technology companies, it contributes to the exchange of knowledge and technologies in the European and global space.
